Young Explorers' Program - Come to the Old Bridge at 109 Shoreline Drive West, Sunset Beach NC 28468 on June 19, 2013 from 10:45 to 12:00 for the Young Explorers' Program. Designed especially for young people, accompanied by an adult, there will be supervised activities that include getting acquainted, examining artifacts from the days when the Old Bridge was in operation, visits from Community Helpers, stepping back in time, learning about the history of the Old Bridge and creation of a craft to take home. The Young Explorers' Program will enrich everyone's beach experience. Fun for the young and the young at heart. Walk on the Old Bridge and visit the lower portion of the Tender House, a future museum space. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

June 27

Family Fun Night - Come to the Old Bridge at 109 Shoreline Drive West, Sunset Beach NC 28468 on June 27, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:00 for a cook out and "An Old Fashion Country Fair". Come grab a hot dog, some chips, and a drink and participate in some beach games while listing to music. Walk on the Old Bridge and visit the lower portion of the Tender House, a future museum space. July 11

Family Fun Night - Come to the Old Bridge at 109 Shoreline Drive West, Sunset Beach NC 28468 on July 11, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:00 for the program, "Snakes and Turtles and Birds, Oh My!" Local experts will bring live snakes and reptiles, rehabilitated birds, and exhibits from the Sunset Beach Turtle Watch Program. Learn more about these and other animals that share our beach. Walk on the Old Bridge and visit the lower portion of the Tender House, a future museum space. Hope to see you there!

Family Fun Night - Come to the Old Bridge at 109 Shoreline Drive West, Sunset Beach NC 28468 on July 18, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:00 for the program, "The Outdoor Experience". Experts will be there to talk about fishing from the Sunset Beach pier and in the surf, shelling, kayaking, area bird watching and more. Walk on the Old Bridge and visit the lower portion of the Tender House, a future museum space. Hope to see you there!

Family Fun Night - Come to the Old Bridge at 109 Shoreline Drive West, Sunset Beach NC 28468 on July 25, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:00 for the program, "Songs from Favorite Movies, Part II" with Mandee Williams, soloist. Enjoy a wine tasting from Silver Coast winery while listening to tunes from your favorite movie. August 1

Family Fun Night - Last program of the season!  Come to the Old Bridge at 109 Shoreline Drive West, Sunset Beach NC 28468 on August 15, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:00 for the program, "If Bridges Could Talk". A number of local residents will share the fascinating history of the Sunset Beach area and the Old Bridge. If you came to the first program on June 20, come and meet different residents sharing their memories. Visit with a Bridge Tender, see a working scale model of the Old Bridge, walk on the Old Bridge and visit the lower portion of the Tender House, a future museum space. Hope to see you there!
